Gia's Giudice's Next Career Move Has Nothing to Do with Law School & It Requires a Big Investment
The RHONJ kid wants her dad, Joe Giudice, to "walk [her] through" her new venture.
As Gia Giudice is contemplating whether she wants to go to law school, she's already thinking about what her next career move will be.
Gia, who is the eldest daughter of The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice and her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, opened up about her desire to become a property owner on the August 5 episode of the Trading Secrets podcast.
"The next thing, for sure, is I want to start investing into properties," she told host Jason Tartick on the podcast, noting that she would be following in her dad's footsteps. "And that was how my dad started, actually, so he's very familiar with the business, with how it works," she continued.
As Gia prepares to buy property, she wants her Bahamas-based dad to "walk [her] through the whole thing."
She also revealed that she's zeroed in on the type of residential property she wants to buy. "My next step is to buy a two-family home, and, obviously, take out a mortgage and start it from there," she said. "But, that's what I want to do. I want to just start owning properties all over New Jersey."
Gia Giudice opens up about her financial independence
Elsewhere on the podcast, Gia shared that she is financially responsible for most of her lifestyle. Though she still resides at Teresa and Luis "Louie" Ruelas' New Jersey home, Gia said that she pays for most everything else.
"I don't really get money from my parents anymore," the 23-year-old social media influencer said before discussing how she had just paid to lease a Porsche. "Financially, I really am on my own, and that's also a big misconception," she continued. "People don't think I'm on my own. People think that I live off of Mommy and Daddy's money."
Gia may currently be living at her mom and stepdad's house, but she has been contemplating moving out and living with her longtime boyfriend, Christian Carmichael.
On RHONJ Season 14, Episode 7, Teresa discussed Gia's plans with her husband. “Yeah, I mean, I was a little shocked to hear it at first,” Teresa said. “I was like, ‘What?’ Because I feel like you should live on your own first and then go be with the guy.”
“Gia is an adult now. She can do whatever makes her happy,” Teresa said in an interview on the episode. “But I want my kids to experience everything that I didn't get to experience.”
