There's no doubt that the Real Housewives of New York City's Kristen Taekman is stunning, with an enviable body to boot. And the most surprising fact about the mother of two's amazing figure? She swears by 20-minute workouts designed by JCORE founder Jay Cardiello, for which she is a spokesperson. Now she's bringing that routine to the masses with the release of their DVD, Bodyback.
The 20-minute high-intensity workout doesn't need any equipment or even much space. It can be performed in a 4X4 area and it's basically all Kristen uses to stay in such amazing shape.
"I said in the beginning I’m not a gym person. I walk into the gym and don’t know what to do with myself and I’m too embarrassed to ask,” Kristen tells People. “Like I literally walk around and pretend I know what I’m doing when I really don’t. So it’s awesome that I can just watch this video, and I have everything I need right there."
The workout is also all about maximizing one of the most precious things any mom (or New Yorker) has: time. “I will tell my friends about JCORE Body Back and they say they don’t have time for that, and I’m like, ‘No you don’t understand. You start at 7:10 and you’re done at 7:30.’ Everyone has 20 minutes," she says.
The DVD's routine is built around rapid 30-second strengthening and stabilizing routines, designed to get your heart rate up while toning your muscles.
