Is Gael Cameron Still with Her Boyfriend After Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9?

Gael Cameron may have joined Mustique as one of the only crew members in a relationship, but did that change after she formed a bond with deckhand Nathan Gallagher?
The Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 cast member had been in a relationship for five months with an engineer she previously worked with on another boat, but her connection with the Irishman was undeniable.
Gael even broke the fourth wall while trying to sneak off to the deck to meet Nathan for strawberries on Season 9, Episode 2, though she eventually returned to her cabin after realizing it was not the best idea.
During the June 24 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Gael revealed how she told her boyfriend about the Nathan situation, and she teased whether the two are still together today.
"I was very honest with him," Gael said about telling her boyfriend about what went down with texting Nathan. "I even told him, I was like, 'Look, I've behaved in ways that I feel like I'm not proud of.'"

As Gael explained, when she worked with her boyfriend on her last boat, the two would often spend time separately with other crew members and it was never an issue.
"We always had a very chill relationship, early days we never had any insecurities or any[thing]. He saw me on deck with the guys, he would hang out with the girls, and there [were] never any issues," she said about why the Nathan situation didn't seem like a big deal at first. "So, at first, I didn't think of it, but then I ended up calling him like, 'Look, now that you're not on the boat, I completely understand that I feel like my behavior hasn't been 100 percent OK, and yeah, he understood kind of, not really."
As Gael added, "Relationships are difficult, so we just have to roll with it."
WWHL host Andy Cohen then asked Gael if she is still dating her boyfriend, and she replied, "I think you just have to wait and see."
Did Gael Cameron plan to hook up with Nathan Gallagher?
In addition to sharing how her boyfriend felt about Nathan, Gael revealed whether she was going up to the deck to take her flirtation with the deckhand to the next level on Episode 2.
"It wasn't so much a meet-up... [The] strawberry is actually [the] fruit I was going to get him," she said. "But me and Nathan had, straight off the bat, we clicked, we got on — whether it was flirtation or friends or whatever — we got on like a house on fire straight away."
What to expect from Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher on the rest of Season 9
It looks like things will continue to progress in Gael and Nathan's relationship as Season 9 continues, because in the above preview for Episode 5, which will air on July 1, her relationship with her boyfriend hits troubled waters as her bond with Nathan intensifies.
"I'm sorry," Gael tells her boyfriend in a text after he says that he could have broken up with her over Nathan. "I really am trying."
However, Gael is feeling a bit checked out in her relationship at this stage.
"I know I should be putting my relationship first," she says in an interview on the episode. "I just want him to have my back and support me. His actions are just slowly pushing me away and it's definitely making me realize Nathan's just there for me. Like, I've really just beat myself up over this quite a bit."
