Exclusive: Gretchen Rossi Imagines Being Host of 'WWHL'
Who would the OC 'Wife have as her dream guests?
Sunday kicked off the latest season of Watch What Happens Live, and while host Andy Cohen the show for the last few years, Real Housewives of Orange County star Gretchen Rossi has some ideas of how she would run the show herself.
The Dish spoke with Rossi at the In Touch Icons and Idols VMA after-party at Hollywood’s famed Chateau Marmont, and when asked who her guests would be if she was the WWHL host, Gretchen's answer came out of nowhere. "Can they be not here anymore? I’d love to have Marilyn Monroe that would be a good one. And I’d love to have Barack Obama. Let’s challenge the president!"
Maybe the President can squeeze in an appearance during his campaigning?
Since Rossi was partying it up at a VMA event, we of course got her thoughts on what's an iconic music video in her mind. Gretch said that one of the first music videos she remembers making an impact on her was Madonna’s "Like a Prayer."
"The cross-burning and all that, it was pretty hardcore. I was young and I was very impressionable. So it was just like, wow."
Madonna no doubt paved the way for many artists today, and Rossi had nothing but praise for one particular pop star who is burning up the charts: Katy Perry.
Rossi mentioned that, she’s “so fun,” and “wears crazy cool costumes,” adding that she "always has cool different hair styles." Looks like we can add a Real Housewives to Perry’s already rabid fan base!
