Eva Marcille Shares a “Good” Update Amid Her Divorce from Michael Sterling
The RHOA alum also revealed how she and her three children are holding up following her and Michael’s split.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Eva Marcille announced at the end of March that she and her husband, Michael Sterling, were getting a divorce after four years of marriage.
“This has been one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make, but sometimes life takes your journey in a direction you were not expecting,” Eva told People at the time. “Our children remain our biggest priority, and the eight and half years we have spent together will always be cherished. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”

How Eva and Her Kids Are Holding Up Amid the Divorce
“Today’s a good day, yeah, today’s a good day,” Eva said in a June 25 interview with ET on the red carpet. “Every day you gotta figure it out. Life lifes, but today’s a good day, and my kids are good.”
Eva and Michael share three children: 4-year-old Michael Sterling Jr., 3-year-old Maverick Sterling, and Eva’s daughter, 9-year-old Marley Rae, from a previous relationship.
“My babies are great,” Eva added. “They’re getting big! Too big. I want them to stay small! My daughter’s tall… She’s 9 now, she’s doing algebra over the summer, I’m like, ‘What is going on?!’”
What’s Next for Eva
Eva, it turns out, is keeping busy with both her family and her career. As for how she manages to make it all work, she said, “I have a great schedule, I have a great team, and honestly, I keep God first,” she said. “I let him order my steps. He has plans for me that are way bigger, that are plans for me to do nothing but make me great, so I just follow where God’s taking me.”
Fans may recall that Eva departed RHOA after Season 12, but she went on to appear on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 2 in 2022. She was a cast member alongside fellow RHOA alum Phaedra Parks as well as several other Ex-Wives.
