Eva Marcille and Husband Michael Sterling Are Divorcing After 4 Years of Marriage
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and the lawyer share three children together and have been married since 2018.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Eva Marcille and her husband, Michael Sterling, are getting a divorce. People reported the news on Tuesday, March 28, and Eva confirmed the split in a subsequent statement.
“This has been one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make, but sometimes life takes your journey in a direction you were not expecting,” Eva told People. “Our children remain our biggest priority and the eight and half years we have spent together will always be cherished. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”
The former couple was married for four years after saying “I do” on October 7, 2018. The wedding played out during RHOA Season 11 and was attended by Eva’s castmates NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams, Shamari DeVoe, Tanya Sam, and Marlo Hampton.
Today, Eva and Michael share three children: 4-year-old Michael Sterling Jr., 3-year-old Maverick Sterling, and Eva’s daughter, 9-year-old Marley Rae, from her previous relationship with ex Kevin McCall.
The model and entrepreneur departed RHOA after Season 12 but went on to appear on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club in 2022. She was a cast member alongside fellow RHOA alum Phaedra Parks, as well as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Taylor Armstrong and Brandi Glanville, The Real Housewives of New York City’s Jill Zarin and Dorinda Medley, and The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson.
