Erin Lichy Has Moved to New NYC Neighborhood (But Is It More "Up and Coming" Than Tribeca?)
The RHONY newcomer had only good things to say about the workers who helped her on "a bittersweet day" of moving out of her Tribeca apartment that she designed herself.
After all the drama surrounding one of Manhattan’s most upscale neighborhoods on The Real Housewives of New York City, Erin Lichy is saying goodbye to Tribeca.
It looks like the Housewife and real estate agent spent Labor Day weekend packing house and moving out of her luxurious two-story Tribeca loft, as seen in a series of Stories posted to Erin’s Instagram page.
Of course, Erin didn’t do it alone and even teased fans with a peek into her new home.
Erin Lichy Moves Out of Tribeca
On Monday, September 4, 2023, Erin tagged the Brooklyn-based Solidarity Movers when posting a photo of three workers in Erin’s apartment, a couple smiling in their business-branded T-shirts.
“A bittersweet day saying goodbye to our Tribeca home of nearly five years,” Erin wrote. “So grateful to be working with the most INCREDIBLE movers. So attentive and helpful!!”

Erin captioned the first of several stories with two folded hands emojis.
In a follow-up Instagram Story, Erin posted a photo of the moving truck outside the northern Tribeca apartment building, equipped with two teary-eyed emojis.
Erin continued in a third post, giving fans a glimpse of the new digs. A beautiful city view is the backdrop to the boys’ room as the kids’ furniture — including a Casa Kids bunk bed by Roberto Gil — sat unassembled.
“But we’re pumped about our new place and this new beginning,” Erin continued, adding she was “so blessed” to have Solidarity Movers.
In a final Instagram Story, Erin posed with two of the workers, giving strong-arm poses after the move was complete. Erin pulled off a fresh look, sporting a cropped, light gray sweatshirt and black leggings, complete with toes painted French white (perfect for the Labor Day weekend).
Erin called it the “longest day and night ever,” again thanking the moving company and praising them for being “incredibly professional” and for being a business that “gives back to the community.”
Erin finished her series by telling fans, “Can’t wait to show you all the final product!!!”
When it comes to what’s hot and what’s not in the Big Apple, Erin Lichy gets it. She’d have to, as a member of The Eklund Gomes Team (a “billion-dollar club” mega team part of the Douglas Elliman real estate company). So, you could imagine Erin’s surprise when on RHONY Season 14, Episode 5, Jessel Taank said she had friends moving to Tribeca because the neighborhood had “potential” and was “up and coming.”
“It’s already there,” Erin responded in defense of her neighborhood.

Fredrik Eklund himself, familiar to Bravo fans for Million Dollar Listing New York, was one of many to chime in about Jessel’s assessment of the Lower Manhattan district.
“Erin is correct!” Eklund previously said to The Daily Dish. “Tribeca is the most expensive zip code in New York and attracts more celebrity buyers than any other neighborhood for two decades now. If you don’t know this, you’re not a New Yorker.”
Beyonce and Jay-Z, Robert DeNiro, and Jennifer Lopez are just a few A-list names who have homes in the area.
Where does Erin Lichy live now?
While Erin has yet to reveal the final results with her new place, she previously said on Sirius XM’s Jeff Lewis Live on Radio Andy that she had plans to head to Upper Manhattan. At the time, Erin was “in between apartments” but was spending the summer with her husband, Abraham “Abe” Lichy, and their three children at their Hamptons home.
“My kids go to school uptown, and it was too hard; it’s just been too hard,” Erin said. “I have a third going in the same school as my older two.”
Erin, who said she was raised uptown, laughed that her “coordination is getting difficult” when juggling the kids with their nannies.
“The other thing is that my son is 8 and a half, so all his friends are there,” Erin continued. “He wants to play basketball ... I can’t coordinate the afterschool. That was even harder than school.”
It’s unclear whether the photos posted to Erin’s Insta are of a rental or if she and her family have found their permanent home since the Jeff Lewis interview aired. Temporary or not, it’s always good to see the Housewives moving onward and upward!
