It Really Is "XXPEN$IVE" to Look Like Erika Girardi — to the Tune of $40,000 a Month

Beverly Hills is full of residents with lavish lifestyles, especially Erika Girardi. A glam squad, designer ensembles, and a private jet is all part of a day in her glamorous life. 

It's no wonder that Erika sings, "It's expensive to be me," in her latest single, "XXPEN$IVE," — she means it.  “It’s a lot,” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills songstress recently told In Touch about how much it costs to be her. “Maybe $40,000 a month on clothes, shoes, and accessories.” 

When you're in front of the camera all the time like Erika is, you've got to look good, right? “But it’s all for work. I’m on television, this is what I do for a living,” Erika explained. “It’s part of the job.”

But when Erika's not hanging out with the ladies of the 90210 on RHOBH or busting a move on Dancing with the Stars, she actually looks like everyone else while she's just chilling at home. "If we were at home right now I'd be in sweats and a T-shirt with my hair up and no makeup. I believe it's important to relax and let all of that go," Erika said during an interview with Glamour last year. "You can't be totally identified by that 100 percent of the time. I still go through Starbucks every morning with no makeup, looking crazy, and they know who I am. And they're like, 'We watch the show!' and I'm like, 'OK, cool!'"

We think Erika looks nothing short of amazing no matter what she's got on.
