Emily Simpson Reveals That She Has a New Family Member: Get the Details
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member has expanded her brood.
Oranges are back in season! The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 17 premieres on Bravo on Wednesday, June 7, at 8/7c. Viewers will witness old friendships, new drama, and a few fresh faces — including one with a wagging tongue.
In the clip above, Emily Simpson reveals that she’s welcomed a new family member since cameras were last rolling.
Emily Simpson Introduces Her New Dog, Togo
You can start watching Episode 1 of Season 17 in the clip above. The video shares an update on several RHOC cast members, including Emily.
In one part of the clip, Emily meets Shannon Storms Beador for a walk with their dogs. Shannon has brought her trusty golden retriever, Archie, along for the stroll, while Emily has her little pooch Fisker in tow. But Fisker isn’t the only one she’s got on a leash.
“I just got a new dog like five months ago,” the former attorney tells Shannon. “I thought about bringing him today, but he doesn’t do well with other dogs yet.”
The clip shows an adorable snap of Emily and her new family member, Togo. Though he may not be extremely social yet, Togo certainly is a beauty.
He has a shiny black coat, delightfully pointy ears, and the facial expression of a pup that’s truly besotted with his dog mama. In the photo, Emily and Togo look like a perfectly happy pair.
Later, Emily shares a fun fact about her four-legged friends. “I’ve always heard that a dog’s mouth is much cleaner than a human’s mouth, so I share spoons, forks, plates [with my dogs],” she confesses.
Emily Simpson Also Has a New Look
In addition to a new dog, Emily has a new look. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member took to Instagram on May 27 to show off a fresh haircut, which came courtesy of stylist Roya Falahi.
“So I did a thing… needed to simplify my life,” Emily captioned her post. Her gorgeous new cut left her honey-blonde highlights intact and her newly snipped hair lightly grazed her shoulders. “What do you think?” she asked her followers. Tamra Judge weighed in: “Love it.”
Emily also shared some context for her new look. “Getting my skin in the best shape/tone it’s ever been in allowed me to feel confident enough to take out my extensions and cut off a lot of my hair,” she wrote.
