Dr. Contessa Metcalfe and Toya Bush-Harris' Latest Meeting Ends With Someone Walking Out
"You're trying to make peace with somebody who enjoys war with me," Dr. Contessa says in this Married to Medicine preview.
Dr. Contessa Metcalfe and Toya Bush-Harris haven't really gotten along in the time that we've seen them interact on Married to Medicine. However, the newest addition to the group, Anila Sajja, is hoping to change all of that.
In the above preview of the next episode of Married to Medicine airing Sunday, March 21 at 9/8c, Anila tries to broker peace between Dr. Contessa and Toya, who was the one to introduce her to this friend group. In the clip, which is exclusive to Bravo Insider, Anila pulls Dr. Contessa aside at her celebration of the traditional Hindu ceremony known as Rakhi to encourage her to speak with Toya about their conflict.
Dr. Contessa doesn't seem too keen on confronting Toya at the event, instead hoping to get to know Anila independent of her friend. But it looks like it will be difficult to avoid the subject during dinner at the celebration with Dr. Contessa and Toya sitting across from one another. "Whatever's going on between you guys, it's not that deep. Y'all need to just talk about it," Anila tells the ladies during the meal. "[Toya]'s a great person."
However, Dr. Contessa doesn't see their reconciliation as quite that simple. "You're trying to make peace with somebody who enjoys war with me," she shares in the clip.
That is underscored by the fact that this isn't the first time she and Dr. Contessa have been at odds, according to Toya. "It's like an up-and-down roller coaster with her," Toya says of Dr. Contessa. "Three years of the same s--t."
Things then start to get heated between Dr. Contessa and Toya, culminating in one of the women getting up from the table, which is only just the start of the drama. For instant access, as well as more exclusive content featuring your favorite Bravolebs, sign up to be a Bravo Insider.
