Dr. Contessa Metcalfe Shares Big Career News Ahead of Below Deck Sailing Charter: "A Blessing"
Married to Medicine's Contessa Metcalfe is the first primary charter guest of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5.
When Below Deck Sailing Yacht returns for Season 5 on Monday, Oct. 7, viewers will recognize the first primary charter guests: Dr. Contessa Metcalfe and her husband, Dr. Scott Metcalfe.
In a preview for the premiere episode, which you can check out above, the Married to Medicine alum, her husband, and their guests make their way to Parsifal III for their epic vacation.
"What happens in Ibiza stays in Ibiza!" Contessa exclaims as she's getting a tour of the vessel.
Viewers will get the opportunity to further catch up with the medical professional when Season 5, Episode 1 airs, but in the meantime, The Daily Dish chatted with Contessa about all that she's been up to lately.
Dr. Contessa and Dr. Scott are expanding their practice and family
During her chat with The Daily Dish, the mom of three shared a majorly exciting update on her career.
"So we actually are expanding our practice. We bought a building," Contessa said. "What a blessing... A building became available not far from our house, so we were able to purchase that building. We're looking forward to expanding our practice."
In addition to growing her career, Contessa and Scott also just grew their family.
"We expanded our family with a little four-legged friend. We have a little French bulldog named King, so we've kind of just been enjoying life," she continued.

As for Contessa and Scott's upcoming appearance on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, the Married to Medicine personality said that she and her husband "love to travel in style," and that's exactly what they did once they climbed aboard Parsifal III and got acquainted with Captain Glenn Shephard and his Season 5 crew.
An added bonus? The locale for Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5, aka Ibiza, Spain.
"I've always wanted to go to Ibiza, and I had this belief in my heart that I was kind of approaching the age of being too old to go, so it was nice to kind of be able to do it in an elegant fashion, so to speak," Contessa said. "Because when we go on vacation, we believe in really letting your hair down."
You'll have to tune in to Below Deck Sailing Yacht to see everything that goes down during Contessa and Scott's charter, but she said of the crew, "Everyone was just so accommodating."
"We just had so much fun. Everybody was just so awesome," Contessa said. "We didn't want to get off the ship."
Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 premieres on Monday, Oct. 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream next day on Peacock.
