Dorit Kemsley's Husband PK Shares a Major Update on His Battle with Diabetes

One of the things we love most about Dorit Kemsley and her husband, Paul "PK" Kemsley, is how supportive they are of one another. We've especially been seeing just how much they have each other's backs this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as Dorit does everything she can to to help PK manage his diabetes, including concocting some healthier food options for him to try (clip above).

Dorit shared earlier this season that PK was diagnosed with diabetes before she met him. "PK is Type 2 diabetic, and he's on the cusp right now of potentially, god forbid, going into Type 1 diabetes, which is far more serious and irreversible," she said.

She also noted that it has been "a daily struggle" to try to get PK to incorporate healthier food in his diet. "I try desperately to get him to eat healthier, but it's virtually impossible to get my husband to eat vegetables," Dorit said. "His mother doesn't eat vegetables, so now I've got to try and undo his lifestyle for a healthier lifestyle."

At the time, Dorit said she wasn't so optimistic about how PK was managing his diabetes. "PK is an impossible patient. He brushes it off," she shared. "That's very frustrating. At least if I saw it was registering, I'd feel some hope."

Now it looks like PK is really starting to take control of his health. "Completed my 'let’s get rid of diabetes camp,'" he recently shared on Instagram.

PK did not provide any details on what sort of program he just participated in, but we have to say that he's never looked better! Though he also admitted on Instagram that his new health and fitness regime remains a challenge, it sounds like he's in fighting form to support his wife amid all of the drama going down this season of RHOBH. "Now going back to my 'let’s deal with those who think it’s OK to start on my wife,'" he also noted in the Instagram post.

PK's update comes just about a week after some exciting career news for the RHOBH husband was announced. He's producing a forthcoming biopic about Boy George, who he also manages. "I am so proud of my supremely talented, visionary husband @paul_kemsley_pk. You inspire me everyday with your limitless ability to achieve what you set your mind to," Dorit gushed about the announcement on Instagram. "Bravo. How exciting."
