Danielle Olivera Announces "Heartbreaking" Departure From Summer House: "Need to Trust My Gut"

Danielle Olivera will not return as a full-time cast member for Season 9 of Summer House.
The fashion app founder, who initially joined the Bravo series in a full-time role back during Season 2, made the announcement in an Instagram statement on June 25.
Addressing her followers, Danielle's message began, "I wanted to share that I've come to the heartbreaking decision to not return as a full-time cast member on the upcoming season of Summer House."
"Obviously this decision didn't come without a tremendous amount of thought," she continued. "Ultimately, I just need trust my gut. If I can’t put 100% of myself into filming, genuinely and authentically, it really doesn’t feel right doing it in a full time capacity. The network, production, my cast, and especially all of you deserve that."

Danielle then shared what's next for her. "Right now I need to protect and prioritize the things that matter most to me — my company, my people, and of course myself," she wrote, before thanking NBCUniversal, Bravo, and Summer House's production company, Truly Original, for "understand[ing] and support[ing] whatever decision I chose to reach."
She also pointed out that she was able "to take a step back" during Summer House Season 4 "and it ended up working out better than i imagined."
So, "however I'm involved this summer," Danielle concluded, "you can bet I'll be rooting for another incredible season from my Summer House fam."
Who is the cast for Summer House Season 9?
The official cast list for Summer House Season 9 — which was greenlit back in May — has yet to be confirmed.
Season 8, which premiered in February, followed the lives of returning cast members Danielle, Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Paige DeSorbo, Ciara Miller, Lindsay Hubbard, Gabby Prescod, and Carl Radke, as well as newcomers Jesse Solomon and West Wilson, as they lived together on the weekends in a Hamptons vacation home.
