Craig Conover Has a New Project He Wants Fans to "Cuddle Up With" and, No, It's Not Pillows
The Southern Charm entrepreneur is releasing a book, and here's why he said the process was "therapeutic."
Get ready to call Craig Conover a published author. That's right, Craig is adding yet another job to his resume, which already includes lawyer, pillow entrepreneur, and podcast host. The multi-hyphenate recently confirmed he will release a memoir, aptly titled Pillow Talk: What's Wrong with My Sewing?, which, as Southern Charm fans know, is a reference to a memorable Season 5 moment.
According to PEOPLE, fans can get their hands on the book, which is being published by Simon & Schuster, when it hits shelves on March 29, 2022 (you can pre-order it now). Craig will also narrate the audiobook version, if that's something that interests you.
"I'm sew excited to peel back the curtain and bring you all into my life unedited," Craig told the publication. "The process of writing this book has been therapeutic for me and it is the first time I've ever opened up about the insecurities from being bullied as a kid, and even into adulthood. My journey has been a long winding road and I can't wait to unpack it with you chapter by chapter."
Craig also shared with fans on Instagram what the cover of his memoir looks like and it's sew adorable (sorry, we couldn't resist). It features Craig looking casual cool, yet profesh in a suit and wearing no socks(!) all while fittingly sitting among pillows(!!).
Craig had fans help him pick out the cover, and he later thanked them for their help — while also sharing more details about the forthcoming book.
"And here’s the winner folks! Thank you all so much for your feedback. I really do love having y’all involved for big decisions like this and can’t wait for you to cuddle up with this honest, tearful (both good and bad), but ultimately feel good story about my life and the unorthodox way I got where I am today," he teased on Instagram. "Through being bullied growing up to my first business selling golf balls on the golf course. Whether it’s the shame I had waking up next to a dumpster or the thrill I had at my first pillow party, I’m taking you through everything you didn’t see on TV (and some that you did)."
