Paige DeSorbo Confirms Her Surprising Past Career: "I'm Deadddd" (DETAILS)

Long before the fashionista and podcast host joined Summer House, Paige DeSorbo had a very fun career and we have all the details.

By Casey Suglia

Paige DeSorbo has been in front of the camera long before she joined the cast of Summer House in Season 3. Paige had a pretty interesting career as a model in catalogues before she became a fashion writer and then became a full-time influencer. But, there's yet another role the fashionista held in the past that she's now sharing all the details on.

How to Watch

Watch Summer House on Bravo Wednesday, February 12 at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

Paige confirmed this on Monday, October 27, after one TikTok user posted a video with a book that one of her students was reading. In the video, the user showed off the cover of the book, The Friday Society by Adrienne Kress, published in 2012, which featured a teenaged Paige standing right in the center of it. Paige's look for the book cover included goggles and a funky-looking, steam-punk-inspired outfit. The TikTok user asked Paige to confirm it was her in the comments, which the Giggly Squad podcast host actually did.

"IM DEADDDD," Paige commented. "Yes it is lol," she added in a separate comment, before reposting the video to her TikTok account. "I think I was 13 and I was strong in the teen novel circuit."

Inside Paige DeSorbo's Career as a Model

Paige has been very open about her model past. The Albany native was a catalogue model for Limited Too as a kid, showing that she has been into fashion from the start. Paige also appeared on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Show last December, where she dished on her career past.

"So when I was younger, I was a child model," she revealed. "I was [modeling for] Limited Too, Easy Bake Oven. When I was like, 12, 13, I did all like, teen novel covers. So anything on the reading list that summer, I was typically on the cover. It was very surreal."

She explained that she didn't tell anyone about it, so no one in school knew about her secret career. "So I was a child model and I didn't really ever do sports or anything," she continued. "That was kind of my thing. And that's how I fell in love with New York City and knew: okay, one day I'm gonna move to New York City. I thought I was gonna be a model."

Paige showed off her collection of covers that she has modeled on in a 2020 interview with a local news channel. "My character was the star of these books and I never read any of them!" she exclaimed.

Paige DeSorbo will appear on Southern Charm Season 10

If people want to see more of Paige, they don't have to pick up a vintage novel to do so, as she will be making some appearances on Southern Charm Season 10. Paige, who currently lives in NYC, is still dating Southern Charm cast member Craig Conover, who lives in Charleston.

Although she has not made the move to live with her boyfriend down in Charleston, she does frequent her boyfriend's home down south, as seen in the video above. In the Southern Charm Season 10 trailer, Paige can be seen interacting with Southern Charm Season 10 newbie, Salley Carson, at a pool party and talking to Craig in his kitchen.

"Austen [Kroll] and Shep [Rose] are like, foaming out the mouth to say you've changed because of me," Paige told Craig in the trailer.

You can see more of Paige and Craig when Southern Charm Season 10 premieres on Bravo on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
