Ciara Miller and Amanda Batula Weigh In on Paige DeSorbo’s Potential Charleston Move
Do the Winter and Summer House cast members see Paige living in the South with Craig Conover? Hear their answer.
Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover have discussed the idea of her moving from New York City to Charleston, South Carolina, on more than one occasion, but what do Paige’s fellow Summer House cast members Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller think about the idea?
Amanda told Us Weekly she “can see” Paige relocating, but joked, “I don’t wanna support that move.”
However, if Paige did decide to leave New York, Amanda said “she would do great.”
“I feel like Paige will follow in her mom’s footsteps of these amazing, like, dinner parties and plate settings and all of her holiday events,” she added. “I think that’s what Paige wants and she’ll get that down South.”
Craig, meanwhile, “would get lost in the city,” according to Amanda — something Ciara said she’d like to see happen.
“I was like, ‘He needs the tough love of a big city where he is not a big fish in a small pond,’” Ciara said of the Southern Charm cast member. “And I mean, that will humble you in itself like that.”
Paige, for her part, hasn’t exactly been enthusiastic about the potential move. As she put it on a recent episode of Winter House, “living in New York, I never saw myself having kids in the city, but I also never saw myself moving to the surrounding areas.”
“Now, with Craig, could I see myself moving to Charleston? I don’t know,” she said, adding in a confessional that she’s not sure she’d be able to “adapt” to the South Carolina city. “It’s a lot of florals, it’s a lot of smiling, [and] no one wears black.”
Paige did, however, agree to stay with her boyfriend for a couple months during the Winter House Season 2 finale. “I’m obviously not ready to full-time live with Craig,” she began in a confessional. “We just spent two weeks and half of it we screamed at each other. But I think moving in for May or June is such a great way to see how we really do live together — not in a vacation home.”
