Caroline Stanbury Is Embarking on Her "Greatest Adventure Yet" with Sergio Carrallo
The couple is celebrating becoming "Mr. & Mrs." in a dreamy Mauritius getaway.
Today is all about love for Caroline Stanbury. The Ladies of London alum had an intimate ceremony to get her legal papers to marry fiancé Sergio Carrallo on Thursday, November 11.
Caroline commemorated the occasion on Instagram in the days leading up to the event, which took place in Mauritius. "And we are off … with my ride or die @sergiocarrallo let this be our greatest adventure yet. 11 11 I become your wife," Caroline captioned a photo of herself and her fiancé, who is a former pro soccer player originally from Spain, in a post on Instagram on November 7. "#mauritius here we come."
Caroline and Sergio kept the countdown and the gorgeous pics coming, giving their followers a glimpse at the start of their tropical vacation in a post on November 9. "2 days and counting," Caroline wrote alongside a photo of herself and Sergio having some fun in the sun at the beach, while the groom said of his bride in another Instagram post, "Always a star in my eyes."
When the big day finally came, Caroline kept fans up to date in her Instagram Stories, such as when she got all glammed up with her daughter, Yasmine. Caroline's sons, Zac and Aaron, also looked handsome getting ready with Sergio.
As if all of this wasn't heartwarming enough, Caroline shared photos from the couple's time together with Andrea Bocelli's rendition of "Can't Help Falling in Love" as the soundtrack. "I can't help falling in love with…. You," Caroline gushed in her Instagram Stories.
She added in another slide, "Today, we become 1. I can't wait for our story to begin….."
In another slide featuring The Carpenters' "We've Only Just Begun," Caroline teased her and Sergio's future. "Stay tuned," she wrote. "Our story's just begun…."
Caroline then shared a video showing herself just before the big moment. "Bye bye, everyone," Caroline said before signing off for now. "This bit's private."
In her Instagram Stories, Caroline shared so many congratulations from her loved ones, including fellow Ladies of London alum and former sister-in-law Sophie Stanbury.
After the ceremony, the night was capped off with everyone singing and dancing to — what else — "Sweet Caroline," as was documented in Caroline's Instagram Stories.
Caroline noted in her Instagram Stories earlier in the week that this was going to be a small ceremony to get her legal documents to marry Sergio and that her "real wedding" would be happening at a later date.
This is the second marriage for Caroline. She was previously married to Cem Habib. The couple announced that they had decided to end their marriage after 17 years together in 2019.
Caroline first went public with her relationship with Sergio in July 2020. She later kicked off 2021 with the news that she and Sergio had gotten engaged while traveling in the Himalayas in Nepal.
Shortly after her engagement, Life After Bravo caught up with Caroline and all that she's been up to since Ladies of London. Check out her interview, which was first shared exclusively with Bravo Insider members, below.
