Caroline Manzo: Stop with the Death Threats!

“Don’t take it so serious. It’s a show,” pleads the ‘Wife.

By Lauren Metz

Crossing the line, much? When The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Caroline Manzo stopped by Anderson Live, she shocked the audience with tales of her Twitter horrors.

“Listen to me, don’t take it so serious. It’s a show. We don’t need death threats,” says the fiery redhead, who spent much of last season combatting with former friend Teresa Giudice. “I don’t need to hear that my kids are going to fall off a bridge.”

Albie, Lauren, and Chris’ mama has also received tweets wishing for her Franklin Lakes, NJ home to burn down, and she wants people to realize on-screen disagreements do not warrant such alarming threats. “It’s just a television show. I don’t take it that seriously. I don’t wish bad on anyone,” she continues.

It’s not just the ‘Wives who are subjected to these disturbing messages; Caroline says their fans are known to bitterly argue among themselves. “I don’t think it’s nice that they fight with each other,” the Let Me Tell You Something author informs a wide-eyed Anderson Cooper. “There are little teams that fight with each other on social media. That’s wrong. It’s meant to be fun.”
