Cameran Eubanks and Whitney Sudler-Smith Just Solved One of Southern Charm's Ultimate Mysteries
The Charleston BFFs just dropped some major tea about the series.
If you've ever tuned into Southern Charm, you've probably noticed that it's Cameran Eubanks who plays the important part of the show's narrator.
It's the Charleston mom who catches us up week in and out on what the crew has been up to from relationship drama to vacation antics. And now we’ve uncovered why! Cameran, in addition to her pal Whitney Sudler-Smith, explained the reasons why she was the perfect Charmer to take on the role.
"She's probably the only one in the [crew] that can actually read," Whitney joked to The Daily Dish. "She’s the only one who actually has any kind of proper announcer's voice. Or is eloquent and erudite, so she was the perfect [choice]. Plus, she has such a great voice. [It was] always her."
As for Cameran, well, she wasn't totally shocked to get recruited for the role.
“I’ve always kind of been the mother figure to these guys, imparting advice on them. So, no, it was not a surprise that I was chosen as the narrator," she explained to The Daily Dish. "It’s a lot of fun and I enjoy it. I tend to kind of be a therapist for my friends. I see things pretty objectively for the most part. I see myself as the caretaker and, maybe, I should be the life coach. Maybe that can be my next [gig]. Maybe Craig should call me."
