Bethenny Frankel is taking a minute to express her gratitude to boyfriend Paul Bernon. While marking the end of National Food Allergy Awareness Week, The Real Housewives of New York City alum gave a sweet shout-out to her beau for saving her life during her near-fatal allergy attack in 2018.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and stream next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

Bethenny has been open about the severity of her food allergies since accidentally consuming fish and suffering a life-threatening attack nearly two years ago. The Manhattan mom took to Instagram to reflect on the terrifying incident and share her thanks to those who helped her get through the episode, including Paul and the medical workers at the Boston hospital where she recovered.

#NationalFoodAllergyAwarenessWeek, along with the #CoronavirusPandemic, remind me how precious life is and how important it is to not take this life for granted,” Bethenny wrote in the moving message alongside several sweet snapshots of her, Paul, and her daughter, Bryn.

She went on to add, “When I had a life threatening allergic reaction, @pbernon and @newtonwellesleyhospital saved my life. I owe them my life, and I’m so grateful to be here now for my family.”

The RHONY alum concluded her message by urging people to pay close attention to their health, writing, “Please take your health and safety seriously, whether you’re facing an allergy or #COVID19.

While Bethenny has been riding out the pandemic in her Hamptons home with Bryn, she’s also been doing her part to help out where she can via her foundation, B. Strong. In March, she revealed that the organization is donating over 1 million masks to benefit hospitals that are in limited supply.
