There's One Person Who Can't Seem to Move On from Bethenny Frankel and Sonja Morgan's Tipsy Girl Drama
But it's not who you'd expect...
Who could forget Bethenny Frankel and Sonja Morgan's intense discussion over the launch of Sonja's Tipsy Girl prosecco last season of The Real Housewives of New York City? Well, it seemed like Bethenny and Sonja did, as they were chummier than ever and having fun like old times during the RHONY season premiere.
Now that happy times are here again for Bethenny and Sonja, it sounds like they're here to stay this season. "My relationship with Sonja is good. It's interesting this year. We spent more time together. It's funny, last year, caught up in our drama, Sonja said that she felt that she couldn't get to me, that everyone was monopolizing my time. And I didn't really buy it," Bethenny told one caller during the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show Wednesday night. "But truth be told, we got a little bit more time this year, and I liked it. I like Sonja. I forgive, and I actually want to forget."
And yes, that one-on-one time includes that wild smooch the two share that's featured in the Season 9 supertease. "There's something coming up when they go to Mexico between [Bethenny] and Sonja as drunk as two people have ever been on a Housewives show," Andy Cohen teased during the WWHL After Show. "And that is saying something."
But Bethenny's fellow WWHL guest Jeff Lewis wasn't quite ready to let her beef with Sonja go, admitting that he's "thought a lot about it." "Here's the thing. On one hand, I was upset with you because I felt like she's harmless," Jeff weighed in during the After Show. "But here's the problem: The people that she was in business with were not harmless."
Bethenny agreed. "Right. And I said, 'You can't play smart and stupid at the same time, and you do not f*** with my business in any way, directly, peripherally,'" she explained. "I am like a lion."
Still, Jeff couldn't help but say that he "just felt bad" for Sonja. "Me too, but it ain't gonna happen again," Bethenny said in response.
Hopefully, this discussion doesn't reignite the Tipsy Girl tiff. Relive some recent fun times with Bethenny and Sonja, below.
