We Have an Update on Kate Chastain’s Baby Bump ... and Friendship with Ben Robinson
The former Below Deck chef penned an adorable message to his “great friend” as she prepares to become a first-time mom.
It’s only a matter of time before Kate Chastain welcomes her first bundle of joy to the world!
Since announcing her pregnancy in December 2022, the mom-to-be has received endless love and support on her solo parenthood journey from her Below Deck family and other Bravolebs, including Captain Lee Rosbach and Madison LeCroy. And most recently, Kate received a heartwarming tribute on social media from her longtime BFF, chef Ben Robinson.
On April 10, Ben gave his followers a sneak peek at their eventful day. He shared an adorable photo with Kate as they both placed one hand on their full tummies. The duo seemed to be in good spirits as they smiled in the snapshot. Kate glowed in a mint green, long sleeve midi dress, while Ben wore a long sleeve hooded Henley and jeans.
“Who knew that Kate Chastain and I would be the same weight one day,” Ben joked in the caption of his post. "But to be fair I have been hitting the gym! Please wish my great friend [Kate Chastain] an easy delivery and a healthy beautiful baby! I am so proud of who you have become and the mother you will soon be."
Days before Ben’s post, Kate took to her social media to suggest comfier seats for expecting mothers when they visit an obstetrician. She shared two cute pictures of her baby bump as she waited patiently to see her doctor.
“Week 36: ultrasound waiting rooms should have recliners,” she wrote as the caption.
As Kate nears the end of her pregnancy, the former chief stew has already started to get settled in her new home. Last month on her Instagram Stories, Kate shared a photo of herself sitting cozily on the floor of her new home.
“Baby needed a craftsman bungalow,” she wrote, followed by a heart, house, and baby bottle emojis. A few days later, she gave an update on her living quarters by showing off a room filled with several boxes, a dining table, chairs, and a gorgeous antique rug.
“Moving + 8 months pregnant nesting vibes = going into full yacht charter prep mode,” Kate wrote in her Instagram Story.
