Courtney Veale Just Reunited with This Yachtie: “Besties”
The Below Deck Mediterranean crew member is officially BFFs with a certain chief stew, and she has the photos to prove it.
Courtney Veale has reunited with a yachtie Bravo fans know and love, and she has the receipts. In an Instagram post from April 15, the Below Deck Mediterranean crew member shared a photo of herself with a certain Below Deck chief stew. She was with Fraser Olender! It looks like the meetup was nothing but smooth sailing.
This isn’t the first time Courtney and Fraser have hung out on land. Back in January, the blonde beauty shared a snap captioned, “[Below Deck] babies in London.” Smiling, sticking out their tongues, and looking elated to be together, the gang included Courtney and Fraser, as well as Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Daisy Kelliher and Below Deck’s Hayley De Sola Pinto.
A few months later, Courtney and Fraser picked up the thread. “Back with my boy [Fraser],” Courtney captioned her mid-April post. In one photo, the two yachties are seated on a plush red banquette in London, hugging each other over drinks.
In the next snap, things get even friendlier. Fraser is planting a big smooch on Courtney’s cheek, and she’s looking at the camera with a contented smile on her face.
In the comments, Courtney added several hashtags, including one spelling out “besties.” So if you’re curious about just how close these two yachties are, you now have your answer.
Below Deck Mediterranean fans last saw Courtney aboard Home in Season 7. After Raygan Tyler’s exit from the yacht, Captain Sandy Yawn enlisted Courtney’s help to pick up some slack for the deck crew.
And yes, that’s the deck crew. Though she had been on the interior crew during Season 6, Courtney later learned that deckhand life was the life for her. “I’m excited to be back, but very nervous to be on deck,” Courtney told Captain Sandy as she boarded the yacht in Season 7. In an interview during the episode, she filled viewers in on what they had missed.
“I’m back!" the North Wales native said. “I was kind of in two minds after last season. Like, being promoted to second stew, last season it was so intense and I was constantly inside and stressed and never saw daylight. So when I left Lady Michelle, I went to the Bahamas and did the last bit of the Caribbean season as a deckie. I definitely feel like a deckhand fits my personality better than a stew. Getting the call from Sandy to come back, I’m excited, but I’m super nervous as well. I’m ready to get to twerk.”
Courtney made her Below Deck Med debut on Season 6. During her first season, the stewardess worked closely with Captain Sandy and became good friends with deckhand Mzi “Zee” Dempers. It’s nice to have friends in high (seas) places!
