Below Deck's Francesca on Captain Lee Not Letting Elizabeth Go: "It Was Pretty Annoying"

Captain Lee Rosbach explains his course of action following the bleach incident.

By Laura Rosenfeld

Following Shane Coopersmith's dismissal in the December 14 episode of Below Deck, it almost looked like My Seanna was on the verge of losing another crew member.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Chief stew Francesca Rubi asked Captain Lee Rosbach if they could let Elizabeth Frankini go and find someone else to replace her after the second stew didn't follow her instructions with bleach, which created a bit of a situation on board. What's more, Francesca told Captain Lee that Elizabeth was "not pulling enough weight, she's not following through."

Captain Lee said that they wouldn't be able to get a new stew before the next charter, which was set to begin the following day. "We'll sit down, we'll chat again after the next charter, and if nothing's changed, we'll do what needs to be done," Captain Lee told Francesca.

Captain Lee elaborated on why letting Elizabeth go was not an option in the above clip from the Below Deck After Show exclusive to Bravo Insider members. Francesca also shared how she really felt about Captain Lee's decision, explaining why "it was pretty annoying" to not be able to make a change to the interior crew.

As for Elizabeth, she said in the Below Deck After Show that she didn't believe the bleach incident was a fireable offense. "It was a mistake, and it wouldn't happen again," she said. "I didn't think I deserved to get brought to Captain Lee about it."
