Ashley Darby and Husband Michael Darby Share the First Photos of Son Dean: "He's a Cutie!" (UPDATED)
The Real Housewives of Potomac mom has officially introduced her baby boy to the world.
UPDATE (JULY 31, 2:04 P.M.): Now that Ashley Darby and her husband, Michael Darby, have shown us son, Dean Michael Darby's adorable face, we just can't stop looking at The Real Housewives of Potomac newborn! Luckily, Ashley and Michael have shared even more precious photos of Baby Darby exclusively with The Daily Dish.
In the below set of photos, you can see Ashley cradling Dean in her hands. She's also got the biggest smile on her face that we've ever seen, and we can totally understand why! Another pic shows Dean sleeping like a little angel in his too-cute blue overalls and striped T-shirt. The last snap shows Dean looking perfectly content as his dad lovingly holds him in his arms.
We can't wait for more photos of Dean!

The day is finally here!
Ashley Darby and her husband, Michael Darby, are officially introducing their son, Dean Michael Darby, to the world by sharing his first photos with PEOPLE. The Real Housewives of Potomac mom also gave a peek at her son's adorable face in a post on Instagram on Wednesday, July 31. "It is with the biggest, most glowingly happy hearts that we introduce you to our beautiful son, Dean Michael Darby," Ashley gushed in the post.
Dean was born on July 7 at 9:17 a.m., weighing 8 pounds and 1 ounce. “Seeing this little being that was inside my body just a few weeks ago is just mesmerizing for me,” Ashley told PEOPLE, adding that she's "overwhelmingly happy." “It’s so crazy how much he’s changed from when he was first born to even the second week. He looked like me and now he looks more like Michael. He’s a cutie!”
Ashley told PEOPLE that Dean is already acting like "a little Michael," too. “He has a very calm demeanor. However, when he wants something, he’s very adamant about getting it,” she shared. “It’s not quite a cry — there are no tears — it’s just a wail. Like, ‘I need this now.’ So I know he needs something, whether it’s to be fed or to be changed. He makes it very clear. As long as he’s fed and changed and warm, he’s a very happy camper.”
Ashley's first month as a mother hasn't been completely smooth sailing. She recently opened up about her "first bout of postpartum blues" and later being diagnosed with mastitis or inflammation of the breast tissue that can cause flu-like symptoms.
But even with all of the challenges that being a first-time mom has brought, it seems like Ashley has never been happier than she is right now. "Thankfully, I had my incredible husband and mom helping me the entire way. They've been true life savers and I can't express my gratitude enough," Ashley shared on Instagram last week. "Yesterday I felt better than I have in a week, so Mickey and I took Dean out to dinner for the first time! While I expected we'd talk about life and our days, we just gushed over Dean the whole time. It was blissful. Love and Light."
