Asa Soltan Rahmati and Mercedes "MJ" Javid Each Defend Their Life Choices

Asa Soltan Rahmati and Mercedes "MJ" Javid were each facing some serious stuff on Sunday's Shahs of Sunset. After Asa revealed to her friends that she and longtime love, Jermaine Jackson Jr., were expecting their first baby together, the reveal was met with excitement but also questions about the logistics of their relationship, including if marriage was in the cards for them.
Asa headed to Twitter during Sunday's episode to break down how she feels about everyone's interest in her relationship. "I feel very grateful for my beautiful son Soltan, my soul mate and I couldn't be more in Love. And I have a family that supports me...everything else is cherry on top. I couldn't be happier," she said.
She continued, "Learned early in life that anyone [sic] taking behind your back -says WAY more about them then about U. I pray for their healing &keep it pushing. But being pregnant and experiencing this was eye opening. Majorly."
On the other end of the spectrum, MJ (who had a mixed reaction to Asa's baby news, as you can see in the clip above) opened up more about her father's health journey after he suffered a stroke and how it affected her life including planning her wedding to Tommy Feight. "Tonight's episode sheds light on where I was in life. You'll know why I put the wedding on hold. My choices are for me. Not for anyone else! It's my choice to want to be married & have my dad walk me down the aisle," she said, adding, "Personal problem. I've had a big fear of abandonment because my mom dipped out. I couldn't do it until I learned to trust. I want my kids to have a mom & a dad who want to be together. So I'm doing what I feel is right to create that for them."
