Ariana Madix Reflects on Her "Insane Year" and Shares an Update on Her Dog, Mya
The Vanderpump Rules cast member opened up about her next project and shared a cuddly new photo of her pooch.
This year was one for the books for Ariana Madix. As 2023 draws to a close, the Vanderpump Rules cast member is reflecting on all that she's been through this past year, and what's coming next.
While she was at it, the animal-lover gave an update on her dog, Mya. In a November 9 Instagram post, Ariana shared a photo of herself on the couch, cozying up to her dog. "This has been an insane year and it's not over yet!" she wrote. "I’m about to go on tour to celebrate the release of my book and I'd love to kick back with you first (maybe Mya too) and test out some of my favorite cocktail recipes."
She continued: "I'm hosting a Cocktail Night In on [AirBnB] and I'd love for you to be there to make some drinks and toast to an incredible year."
Ariana Madix's new cocktail book is her "breakup album"
Ariana's new tome, Single AF Cocktails: Drinks for Bad B*tches, will be released on December 5. "I have my own cocktail book and tell my own story," she said in a TalkShopLove session in October.
"This is essentially my breakup album, and it's really exciting to be able to put it out there because I really like to express myself creatively and heal through creative expression and this is my version of doing that," she shared. "I definitely wrote this book at a time in my life when I was feeling a lot of raw emotion, so you'll definitely be seeing a very vulnerable side of me in this book."
Ariana's recent Instagram post offered a peek at the cover of her latest book. With a black backdrop and gold lettering, the cover shows Ariana wearing a glittering black dress, clutching a pair of silvery heels in one hand and a cocktail in the other one.

As for Mya, the adorable dog first came into Ariana's life in 2020. In an Instagram Story, Ariana offered her followers the first look at Mya Moon Madix.
The gray and white pit mix was making herself comfortable in Ariana's bed. “Once upon a time, I had my own pillow,” Ariana joked in her caption.
