What an "Unreal" Wednesday Night Off Looks Like For Ariana Madix & Daniel in NYC (PHOTOS)

When the Vanderpump Rules cast member isn't belting on Broadway, she's having a date night with her boyfriend, Daniel Wai.

Ariana Madix is staying booked and busy as she continues to perform as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway. The Vanderpump Rules cast member has been living in New York before her latest Broadway run as Roxie ends on Sept. 1. While she's been busy performing all week, dancing and singing her heart out on stage, she's been getting in plenty of quality time with her NYC-based boyfriend, Daniel Wai.

How to Watch

Although having a night off might be rare for Ariana, she uses her time off wisely. Daniel recently took to his Instagram Story, where he posted a series of videos and photos from their very chic and relaxing date night. "Finally a Wednesday off," Daniel wrote over a video he took of Ariana, walking into the NYC restaurant, Aquavit.

Daniel then posted a photo of their stunning dessert to his Instagram Story. "Unreal dessert," he wrote over the colorful photo, tagging Ariana. "Unreal company!"

The couple ended their night at Polo Bar, getting a nightcap glass of wine and chilling out. It's safe to say that Ariana is very good at maximizing her time off.

In fact, Ariana later shared her take on the night in a separate Instagram Stories post, writing, "Worth the wait."

Why Ariana Madix Loves Being on Broadway in Chicago

Although she only has a few performance dates left in her latest stint in Chicago, Ariana's heart is on Broadway. In a March interview with BravoTV.com, Ariana said that she loves being on Broadway "so much."

"Yeah, it's my favorite thing ever," she said, noting, at the time, that her run in Chicago was "going amazingly." "I'm obsessed with it, and I'm gonna chain myself to the building and never leave."

More recently, she took to Instagram to reflect on her time playing Roxie: "100 ladder climbs. 100 joe friscos. 100 baby woo’s
100 court rooms. 100 stage doors. 100 son of a bitch’s. 100 times on and backstage with the best [people]. tonight i hit 100 shows at [Chicago] and i’m counting my blessings because i can’t believe i get to do this 8 times a week. thank you everyone im lucky enough to share the ambassador theater with and thank you to every one of you who has come to see the show. love you, rox. it sure is heaven, nowadays."

What's next for Ariana Madix after Chicago?

In a new interview with Broadway actress Kristen Chenoweth for Interview, Ariana revealed what she would like to do more of when September rolls around and her run on Chicago is over.

"I would love to travel more," she said. "I would love to be able to do more shows. I love live theater. It's just the best. I would love to play more in that space, and hopefully the universe will allow me to."

And rest assured, she's going to stay busy no matter what she does. "The one thing that I've learned about myself is that the busier I am, the more I feel I'm capable of handling," Ariana told E! News in May. "It's those moments when I have too much down time that I start to get antsy and feel like I need more."

Luckily, she has plenty on her plate. Once Ariana goes home to Los Angeles, she has her sandwich shop, Something About Her, which she co-owns with VPR cast member and BFF, Katie Maloney. Although Katie has been holding down the fort while Ariana has been away over the summer, rest assured, Ariana means business.
