Are Nicki Minaj and Demi Lovato in a Feud Because of the Met Gala?

This year's Met Gala isn't just making headlines for its crazy couture. Now that all the hubbub about the clothes has quieted down, Demi Lovato and Nicki Minaj are making news — and it all has to do with the below photo, which shows the "Anaconda" rapper giving some major side eye to the "Confident" singer.

Demi pretty much laughed off the incident on Instagram, writing, "This picture pretty much summed up my first and probably last met #cool #sof***ingawkward #notforme #sweatpants #forensicfiles #whatsgood p.s. some of y'all need to learn how to take a joke.. I'm obviously laughing at the fact that 1. I look incredibly awkward and 2. That the shade being thrown in this picture actually gives me life."

However, the shade didn't just take place on the red carpet. Nicki posted another event photo (below) to her Instagram, but didn't tag Demi, just Moschino designer Jeremy Scott, who designed both of their dresses. The snub reportedly didn't go unnoticed by Demi, who later Snapchatted her response. She said, "When you aren’t mentioned in a post but didn’t do s*** to the person."

While Nicki has remained mum on the matter, Demi once again addressed the incident in a flurry of Tweets early Thursday. While a number of them have since been scrubbed (mainly the ones referencing her battle with bipolar disorder), several of her comments remain. "Sometimes there's more s*** going on than you see. Maybe you DON'T know every aspect of my life so maybe you shouldn't assume you know," Demi wrote. "I'd rather annoy people with my honesty and loud opinions than stay silent and be fake as f***. #lasttweetofthenight #goingtosleep."

What we can agree on is how awesome both ladies looked at the Met Gala, right?
