We Have an Update on Mike Shouhed's Relationship with Mercedes "MJ" Javid Today
Here's where things stand between the Shahs of Sunset cast members following Season 8.
The last we saw of Mike Shouhed and Mercedes "MJ" Javid, he was trying to get the relationship between MJ and Reza Farahan on a better track after tensions had risen to incredibly high levels between the two during Season 8 of Shahs of Sunset — and later during the season's reunion.
"Both of you need to be OK, meet in the middle, and let's fix this. 30 years of friendship. You guys know things about each other that no one else knows. You have a bond that's beautiful, unbreakable... I love you guys' friendship," he said about MJ and Reza at the time.
Well, now we have an update on Mike's bond with MJ after that sit-down. Just this past weekend, Mike took to Instagram to wish MJ a happy birthday, and added in his message to the birthday girl that he's looking forward to what happens next with his pal.
"What an amazing friendship this has been making TV history/magic together...can’t wait to make even more memories for years in years to come," he wrote about their future. "In health [and] happiness."
It should be noted that Mike also remains on good terms with Reza following the reunion. "We side kicks like Lucy [and] Ethel," Mike shared back in early August. "Let’s Keep America Laughing. Love you!"
