"Jax and I are taking time apart, and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health," Brittany explained. "I won’t get into too many details right now because this is still very hard to talk about and I’m taking things one day at a time."
"I don’t know what the future holds, but right now, my focus is on being the best mom to Cruz," she said of her and Jax's two-year-old son. "I love you guys. Pray for us. And everything will be just fine."
Elaborating on her decision to share the news about her and Jax's relationship, Brittany referenced the comments she previously made about their status. "I know on my last podcast I alluded to many marriages go[ing] through rocky times, but with all the speculation online and stories running rampant, I wanted to be transparent with you guys," Brittany said on the Feb. 29 podcast. "Yes, marriages in general are very hard, and I’ve had a particularly rough year in mine this past year."

Page Six caught up with Jax and he reacted to the news that Brittany shared on the podcast she co-hosts with him. He told the publication that their separation “is not divorce.”
“We’re together. We’re living in our home right now. She was in a house for a while, but yeah, she’s back now," he said, adding, they are in the process of trying to “figure out” what's next for them as everything “is all fresh and new.”
