Alexis Bellino Reveals Unseen Details of Tense Moment with Jenn & Katie: “Not What Happened”

Hear RHOC friend Alexis Bellino explain what happened with Katie Ginella and Jennifer Pedranti at her house.

By Sophie Vilensky

While Alexis Bellino is the first to admit that her reaction to getting a text from Shannon Storms Beador during Season 18, Episode 13 of The Real Housewives of Orange County wasn't one she's proud of, she denies that she meant any ill will toward her actual friends who were caught in the crossfire. Kick Katie Ginella and Jennifer Pedranti out of her house? Never.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

"Jen and I were looking at each other like, 'What do we do now?' And then she kicked us out of her house," explained Katie during a recent exclusive interview at Bravo Headquarters.

Although Alexis declared in her own interview, "That's not what happened," Katie had more to say: "She opened the door and she goes, 'It's time to go.' And I looked at Jen and said, 'I think that's for us.' I've never been kicked out of anywhere before."

While the situation can definitely be viewed both ways, Alexis shared more insight into her thought process at the time.

"It was one of those moments where I acted 16 instead of 47," she said. "I mean, I don't even know what you call that text, because like I said she just could've not invited me and it would've been known Alexis isn't going, but it's just one more thing because ever since I came around this group of women again, Shannon has been trying to get me out of the group. So, yeah, I had another knee-jerk reaction."

Why did Shannon Beador text Alexis Bellino?

Shannon texted Alexis after she sent her a 60th birthday present (a bouquet complete with a literal olive branch) to let Alexis know that she wasn't invited on the girls' trip she was planning to London.

"Hello Alexis. It's Shannon Beador. I am hosting a trip to Europe with my friends and just wanted to make it clear that you are not invited," the message began. "That should be quite understandable given the circumstances. Thank you for the flowers, but I am not interested in an olive branch."

After a producer asked Alexis to tell the story of receiving the text, she dove in.

"Well, this was not such a good moment for Alexis," she said. "When I got the text from Shannon that I wasn't included, that did not surprise me. I mean, I wouldn't invite her to go on a trip with me either. I thought the way she texted it was a little not necessary."

However ...

"She didn't even need to tell me I wasn't invited, because I just would've not gotten the invitation to go," Alexis concluded. "So I really didn't need a text. But on my side of it, I ... yeah, I didn't handle it so well."
