Austen Kroll Has Officially Launched His Beer — See Where You Can Get a Sip
The Southern Charm gang turned out to celebrate the launch of Austen Kroll's first beer for King's Calling Brewing Co.
OK, so Austen Kroll didn't have beer taps available for Chelsea Meissner's housewarming party on Season 6 of Southern Charm. But now that his Trop Hop beer has officially hit the market — with taps, thank you very much — we can't imagine that any Charleston parties will feel complete without the IPA from here on out. And the Charm-ers certainly came out in full force when Austen hosted a launch party for the tropical-inspired brew on July 26.
In an Instagram post that offered a peek inside the bash, Austen showed photos of pals like Craig Conover and Cameran Eubanks sipping the suds he created himself. "To say this was a successful [King's Calling Brewing] launch weekend would be an understatement," the beer maestro wrote. "So humbled by all the support and positive response by all my family and friends that came and showed support!"
Following the event, Austen also told The Feast: "[I'm] very happy with the overwhelming support. It’s everyone who throws a [party's] biggest fear that nobody will show up ... that was NOT the case! People were telling me stories of how they drove in from as close as Columbia and flew in from as far as Michigan just for this event. It was great to feel all the support and hear a lot of stories about beer in their hometown and suggestions for my next beer and beyond! Oh and we went through an absurd amount of beer, which is always a positive!"
Patricia Altschul and Madison Le Croy also stopped by the bash, and Patricia posted a short video that proved it was packed to the gills:
If you want to try the highly anticipated beer for yourself, here are the places that Trop Hop is available on tap: King Street Dispensary, Uptown Social, Charleston Beer Works, Bay Street Biergarten, and The Alley Charleston. Of course, you can also order the beer through King's Calling Brewing Co., too.
