Shep Rose might be described as a walking embodiment of the YOLO philosophy — and no, he's not ashamed of the tendencies he didn't grow out of, even if others find them distasteful.

Consider the Southern Charm pal's activities in the Bahamas, where he's currently traveling and sharing highlights to his travel-centric Instagram feed. In one video, Shep hold a drink in a plastic cup in one hand... while he chows down on a very fresh if conventionally unappetizing morsel of seafood.

He captioned the clip: "Yesterday was a fun one. Partook in the obligatory feeding of the [pigs]. Then a storm rolled in and we took shelter on Green Turtle Cay At a place called Pineapples. It was There i was coerced into eating a conch pistol (which may or may not be its genitals.)"

Naturally, fans chimed in with feedback in the comment section. One wasn't impressed: "Love you Shep Rose, babe...but the perpetual drunken man-boy with no job is getting old."

And to that, Shep responded with an unassailable clapback that was at once savage and thought provoking — even seriously inspiring. "We’re all getting old," he wrote. "Just Depends in how committed one is to putting smile on their face. Or to settle for a different version of myself. Full of monotony, tight schedules and a staid existence . I’ll never f---ing do that. So you can quit wishing that for me."
