Here's the Real Reason Why Craig Conover's Mysterious Groceries Baffled Cashiers: "What's This Guy's Deal?"

The Southern Charmer is making trip after trip with cartfuls of questionable items.

Bethenny Frankel isn't the only Bravo celebrity lending both star power and elbow grease to relief efforts for victims of Hurricane Florence. Southern Charm's Craig Conover is on board to help too.

How to Watch

Watch Southern Charm on Bravo Thursday, December 5 at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Craig, who lives in Charleston, South Carolina, headed to North Carolina with a car full of groceries and supplies for those affected by the storm.

"About a half hour outside of Wilmington, loaded up to the brim," he shared on his Instagram Stories. "Yes, that is a case of beer that I got for the first responders and all the volunteers. But everything else is for all of the victims, we’ll be putting together care packages for people to pick up at [an area church]. As soon as I get to the church, I’ll give everyone the address where you can come pick up some supplies. Hope to see anyone that needs it — and if you need us to deliver it, hopefully we can get to you.”

Though some of those affected by Florence have dire needs in its wake, Craig added some levity to the situation.

Over a snap showing his groceries — a mix of such items as cat food and adult incontinence undergarments — he wrote the caption, "Cashiers could play a pretty funny game of 'what's this guy's deal' with what's in my carts this week."

And turns out "this guy's deal" is a warm-hearted — and much needed — helping hand.
