Craig Conover Gives a Surprising Update on His Future with Paige DeSorbo
It seems the Southern Charm-er had a change of heart about his living situation with the Summer House cast member.
So, is Craig Conover moving to New York City, or is Paige DeSorbo moving to Charleston?
That question has been on many Bravoholic's minds these days, and it's also been a hot topic of conversation on both Southern Charm and Summer House throughout the long-distance couple's two-plus years relationship.
Craig recently spoke to the topic on the October 19 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, sitting down with the eponymous host and House of Villains' Tiffany Pollard.
After Pollard expressed her love for Southern Charm, Andy Cohen questioned the reality vet about Craig and Paige's relationship.
"What do you think of Craig and Paige ... are they a good couple?" Andy asked Pollard.
"Only when Craig's being a good boy!" she hilariously exclaimed.
Following that question, Andy had a few other inquiries for Pollard and Craig, prompting Craig to make a surprising update about where he stands on moving to the Big Apple.
Craig Conover reveals if he'd move to NYC to be with Paige DeSorbo
Andy pressed Pollard about Craig and Paige's current long-distance relationship, considering how the couple currently splits their time together between NYC and the South Carolina city.
"Who do you think is gonna move, you think he'll move to New York or she'll move to Charleston?" Andy asked.
"He's the man. She's —" Pollard began, then clarifying her response, "Well, no, you're moving to New York, damnit!" she pointed to Craig, who seemed to affirm the idea.
"I'm down!" Craig exclaimed. "I'm down ... I'll make it work."
Craig Conover shares a relationship update
Since starting their long-distance relationship in the fall of 2021, Craig and Paige have gone back and forth about how they want to proceed with their current living arrangement. During the Summer House Season 7 finale, the pair decided to compromise by spending more time together in either Charleston or New York City, as their schedules allow.
In September, Craig shared a new development in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. In short: the couple isn't in any rush to make permanent decisions in terms of where they live and their relationship status.
"I think I had a lot more growing up to do than I realized," the home goods entrepreneur told the outlet about why he is no longer putting a timeline on proposing. "I've only ever had rom-coms to base relationships off of, you know? You start dating, there's a conflict, and it works out, and you get engaged, and everyone lives happily ever after. I've learned that that's not the case."
Even if they're still splitting their time between New York City and Charleston, Paige has made her mark on Craig's newly renovated home. Not only has she helped with some outdoor and indoor decor, it was revealed on Season 9, Episode 5 of Southern Charm that Paige has her own bedroom in Craig's house.
"When we redid the whole house, I let Paige take kind of the lead. Paige does have what she likes to call 'her room,'" Craig shared during the episode. "She's got a closet in there. She's got her own bathroom. It's small things that add up."
"I love that I have my own bedroom," Paige said. "Honestly, it makes me feel so much better."
