Mercedes "MJ" Javid Reveals the Face Mask That "Snatches" Her Skin

When you're a new mom like Mercedes "MJ" Javid, finding time for self-care can be a struggle. So, whenever you do find a moment of peace, you've got to take advantage of it — even if it is at the crack of dawn.
On June 18, the Shahs of Sunset mom shared an Instagram post giving us a peek at her morning skincare session before what appeared to be a big day. "Guys, it's super early. You get one shot at guessing what today is," she teased. Whatever her day entailed, it called for some indulgent skin prep. "I'm about to get down with my favorite mud mask because it snatches my skin so well," she shared while holding a glass jar filled with a gray-looking substance. A skin-snatching mask, you say? Oh, we definitely want in.
Luckily for us, MJ spilled the deets on her face mask in the comments section. The product is the Fango Active Mud Mask for Face and Body by skincare brand Borghese. According to the brand, the glass jar version MJ has is sold out, but you can find a more advanced formula on its website for $48. Like the original formula, the Advanced Fango Active Purifying Mud Mask contains bentonite clay to draw out impurities, sweet almond oil to help skin elasticity, and avocado oil for hydrated, supple skin.
