Saweetie Shines in a Fitted Brandon Maxwell Dress on a Magazine Cover
The rapper stunned in a green dress and neon jacket by the Project Runway judge.
2021 has been quite the landmark year for Project Runway judge and designer Brandon Maxwell. His sophisticated, luxurious designs were seen on Dr. Jill Biden at the presidential inauguration and on the cover of People for one of her first interviews as First Lady. Early in March, he was also named as creative director of the Elevated Brands Scoop and Free Assembly at Walmart. And even more recently, his designs were spotted on another celebrity for a major magazine cover.
After Cosmopolitan revealed their April 2021 cover featuring Saweetie, Brandon shared that the rapper was wearing his designs for the money shot. Saweetie donned a fitted, green, mid-length dress paired with a neon yellow duster jacket from his Spring/Summer 2021 runway collection. Saweetie's look was accessorized with a green plexi fanny pack by Brandon as well and Hirotaka earrings.
The complementary hues made for the perfect spring ensemble. The look was classy yet playful and youthful and definitely looked amazing on the "Icy Grl" rapper, who is known for her bold and colorful style.
