The countdown to Project Runway’s fierce return to Bravo is on. And we are here to give you a first look at the official trailer for Season 17, which premieres on Thursday, March 14 at 8/7c.
Your favorite fashion competition is back with a fresh new vibe as well as plenty of new faces. As new host Karlie Kloss puts it in the trailer above, “in the world of fashion nothing's more important than what’s next" — and you can bet that this season will be filled with some of the most innovative designs you've ever laid eyes on.
As the 16 new designers tackle tough challenges all across New York City, they will be guided by new mentor, fashion designer, and Project Runway Season 4 winner Christian Siriano. Fashion designer Brandon Maxwell, journalist and former Teen Vogue editor-in-chief Elaine Welteroth, and longtime Project Runway judge and ELLE editor-in-chief Nina Garcia will serve as judges.
The designers will have a brand new workroom and runway to display their designs, and, of course, it just wouldn't be Project Runway without plenty of surprises to help keep the designers on their toes. This season, the designers will be visited by several fashion icons and celebrities, including Danielle Brooks, Dapper Dan, Morena Baccarin, and a fashion-forward rap sensation, who always looks like "Money."
