Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo Shares Why Reading Celebrities Is So Much Harder Than Regular People

Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo does readings for both celebrities and civilians, and by and large, she finds them pretty much the same. But she has discovered one significant difference that makes celebs "actually harder" to read.

"I get that what I do is crazy and people might say how can someone communicate with someone that has died, that's impossible!" she told Extra TV. "So I have spirits talk about things that nobody else would know about. So especially someone that's a celebrity, they feel that their whole life is public and their loved ones have to work that much harder. But once we get started, it is like anyone else."

She told Extra's Adam Glassman that she'd love to read Blake Shelton, Pharell Williams, and Keith Urban.

"You resonate with musicians," Glassman suggested.

"I guess," she replied. "I didn't even realize that!"

Her favorite celebrity reading was with Kim Kardashian and was actually done without cameras rolling.

"Honestly, it really was an honor to be able to share my gift with Kim Kardashian and to have no cameras and just have it be so authentic that it was just you and I, it meant a lot to me for me to be able to do that for her because she doesn't get that private time, to have those private moments. . . this is something so sacred and so special."

As for her own future, it's looking bright. Although Caputo's 28-year marriage to Larry Caputo ended last year, she told Glassman that things are positive between them at the moment and they're coming together for a special reason.

“We are great, we are planning," she said. "Our little girl is getting married.”
