Divorce sucks, and Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are the first to admit it. Though the actors — who share a son, Jack — had a relatively amicable split, Faris is still dealing with the aftermath of ending her marriage. And on a recent episode of the aptly titled Divorce Sucks! podcast, the House Bunny star shared some more revelations she's had about marriage since she and Pratt have parted ways.

"When I first got married... most women I think... maybe most people do... there's that checklist of accomplishments: It's like, get married, whatever... I think that there's that youthful [fantasy.] My brother and I, he's been divorced as well, twice. My parents have this amazing marriage, so you'd think that the odds would be in our favor ... But we've talked at length at about this. And our working theory is that we tried to make a bad thing work because we saw our parents work so well. And so trying to conform to sort of that idea and be like yeah, we got this, we can make that work."

Faris — who's an ordained minister, by the way — also had this to say about weddings: "I also think the ceremony of weddings puts so much pressure on a couple and you make this very public declaration. And you spend, whatever, a year planning it, and that's all you're focused on. And then it's over and it's like December 26, that feeling of like... and then the embarrassment of divorce."

The actress isn't even keen on going to weddings — unless someone's uncle gets loaded. "The only fun thing is like when someone's creepy uncle is like kind of dancing," she said.

Faris later spoke about her first marriage, which took place at the Beverly Hills courthouse when she was in her 20s. "It's so easy to schedule an appointment at Beverly Hills courthouse, and then have your friends, and get wasted at El Coyote, which is exactly what we did but then we got kicked out. But the divorce untangling ... takes a year or whatever. So [I learned] the confusion of the simplicity of the act of getting married."

Ultimately, though, Faris and Pratt are in a pretty good place. They cooperate as co-parents to Jack, and Faris was publicly congratulatory when Pratt announced his engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger.
