The Hot New Mascara All Your Favorite Celebs Are Using

This year’s Met Gala’s theme, which merged fashion and Catholic symbols, drew in plenty of golden beauty looks. However, we couldn’t help but notice another trend that took over this famed fashion event: full fluttery lashes. Several of our favorite stars including Gabrielle Union, Kate Upton, Salma Hayek, and Sarah Jessica Parker donned bold in-your-face lashes. And it was all thanks to the new Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Volume 2 mascara.

The red carpet-worthy product is a part of Charlotte Tilbury's latest Beauty Filters Collection, which contains a variety of eyeshadow palettes, highlighters, and lip products made to enhance your natural features, kind of like an IRL beauty filter. For this new launch, the celeb-loved makeup artist reformulated her popular Legendary Lashes mascara. Now, if you've ever tried her OG lash formula, then you know that this stuff will seriously give you some Hollywood-level lashes. So, you can only imagine what an amped version of this will do.

Legendary Lashes Volume 2 contains an intense, glossy jet-black formula, which increases lash volume up to 507% after one swipe (hence, the va-va-voom effect you can see above). It’s also long-lasting and humidity-resistant like the OG version, making it perfect for these warmer days that are soon approaching.  

Considering Tilbury’s track record with celeb-approved products (FYI, Dorinda Medley swears by the beauty guru’s Magic cream), it’s no surprise that the mascara, which launched this past April, is already a hit on the red carpet.
