Steve Gold Shares His Thoughts on Dorinda Medley's Real Estate Career
The Million Dollar Listing New York agent has strong feelings about the RHONY alum's real estate opinions.
Although Steve Gold was incredibly excited about his Ancramdale, NY, listing, finding a buyer for the massive property was proving to be more of a challenge than he anticipated. As he explained on Million Dollar Listing New York's July 15 episode, "Selling Artemis Farm and all of its 450 acres, to be honest, it's more of an undertaking than I even imagined."
With that in mind, Steve turned to someone he trusts immensely for real estate advice, Dorinda Medley. "Dorinda isn't just the queen of the Berkshires, she actually used to be a really successful realtor," he shared in an interview. "When it comes to her knowledge of upstate, girl knows her stuff."
The Real Housewives of New York City alum quickly encouraged Steve to switch up his strategy, explaining, "That's the type of place that's really hard to describe to someone: a farm, a house, the river. You know, you just have to actually see it. You have to show the story of it." Steve welcomed the suggestion. "I really have to agree with Dorinda that selling Artemis Farm, it's not about the marketing or even talking it up to other brokers," he said. "It's about the experience."
On the show's June 24 episode, Steve gave Dorinda a tour of the incredible property, calling her his "secret weapon" in an interview. "Everybody knows Dorinda Medley, she's Berkshires royalty. Her place there, Blue Stone Manor, is pretty famous around here," he explained. "She's the perfect person for me to reach out to. I've known Dorinda for a few years and her friend Greg is a marketing guru. So between the two of them, they're gonna create a buzz."
In September 2020, Dorinda revealed that she was getting back into real estate. "Took my first [real estate] course today!" she wrote at the time. "So successful the first time I thought [...] why not!"
