Last year, Toya Bush-Harris announced her surprising decision to put her newly constructed “dream house” (which you can see in the video above) on the market. During the July 10 Season 9 premiere of Married to Medicine, Toya opened up a bit more about selling the home and moving into a rental property — and revealed where her family is heading next.

How to Watch

Watch Married to Medicine now streaming on Peacock and the Bravo App.

“I was living my best life in my ‘dream home,’ but now I’m living my best life about to build another dream home,” she said in an episode interview. “We purchased an amazing lot, and we’re moving in April 2023. But for right now, we moved right down the street.”

As you can see in the video above, Toya’s former home was full of incredible custom details, but she wasn’t a fan of some aspects. “The last house didn’t have an elevator. The last house couldn’t have a tennis court, couldn’t do anything,” she explained. “Beautiful pool, but it just wasn’t large enough for kids and adults. I’m not attached to a home. The home was my family.”

During a March 2021 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy CohenToya explained why she felt the time was right to sell her home. “Everyone says this is my dream house. First of all, I built it, I love it. I’m not Barbie,” Toya said at the time. “It’s great, but everybody in the neighborhood was selling their homes, and they were making over $1 million over what they bought it for. So I was like, ‘Oh, shoot, let me see if I can get in on it, honey.’”

While we wait to see Toya’s new house, take a tour of her former one in the video above.

Married to Medicine is streaming on Peacock and available on the Bravo app.
