Toya Bush-Harris Clarifies if She Is Selling Her Home to Move Away from Anila Sajja

Shortly after Toya Bush-Harris moved into a gorgeous new house, many of her Married to Medicine castmates were surprised to learn that she put the fully customized abode on the market. However, on Part 1 of the show's reunion, Toya made one thing very clear: Her troubles with Anila Sajja, who lives just a few houses away, had nothing to do with her desire to move. 

While discussing Toya's potential relocation, reunion host Andy Cohen asked, "It's not because you want to move away from Anila?" to which Toya quickly replied, "No."

Toya's actual reasons for wanting to sell the house, she said, are the profit opportunity and the potential to move near her sons' school. "Everybody in the neighborhood literally has been making a million over [the purchase price]," she explained. "It's a house. What makes it a home is us, and to be honest with you, I wouldn't mind being closer to the school that I put them in." 

On a March 21 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Toya explained that although she loves her house, the financial opportunity was enough reason to put it on the market. “Everyone says this is my dream house. First of all, I built it, I love it. I’m not Barbie,” Toya said. “It’s great, but everybody in the neighborhood was selling their homes and they were making over a million dollars over what they bought it for. So I was like, oh shoot, let me see if I can get in on it, honey.”

Months later, Toya had her sights set on another abode. “It’s beautiful, actually. I love the neighborhood because it is one way in and one way out,” she said on the May 15 episode of The Daily Dish podcast, “This is the perfect area. The view and the backyard of the house [are] amazing. And it would allow me to have a tennis court. So this has a lot of pluses.”
