Contessa Metcalfe Explains Why She Wants a "New Ring" from Husband Scott
The Married to Medicine cast member says Scott Metcalfe "hasn't quite gotten the memo" about one big thing.
On the July 31 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe shared that things are "much better" these days in her marriage to Dr. Scott Metcalfe. However, the Married to Medicine cast member still feels one thing in particular is missing as she and Scott continue to move forward in their relationship.
"Scott hasn't quite gotten the memo about the ring," Contessa said. "Because in my opinion: Old ring, old marriage. New ring, new marriage." With a laugh, she added, "I'm waiting!"
Although Contessa didn't elaborate on what she might want her new ring to look like, she was clearly a fan of fellow guest Drew Sidora's sparkler from Ralph Pittman. After Drew flashed her ring while sharing her own marriage update, Contessa later checked it out and held up Drew's hand to show Scott, who was sitting in the WWHL audience.
Contessa opened up about her and Scott's marriage on the show's Season 9 premiere. "We were gonna get divorced. I had the realtor. We were gonna sell the house," Contessa shared in an interview. "Scott would not sign the listing paperwork, and he said instead of doing that, he's gonna go to therapy. And that's what happened, and the rest is history, in a good way."
