Anila Sajja Reveals How Her Postpartum Hair Loss Inspired Her New Store
The Married to Medicine cast member is opening her new hair showroom later this month.
Anila Sajja is sharing an exciting update on her new beauty store. On the September 4 episode of Married to Medicine, Anila opened up about her new business, revealing that she was inspired to open the store after coping with postpartum hair loss several years ago.
“I’m starting a hair store and I’m so excited about it,” Anila stated, going on to explain, “It all started with me losing a lot of hair when I had my two babies. All moms go through it, and sometimes it comes back, but a lot of times it doesn’t.”
Anila went on share how finding the right extensions made all the difference in adding volume to her hair. “I started putting in raw Indian hair in my hair, like micro links. And I was like, ‘Wow, this feels like my own hair,’” she said, adding that her experience inspired the idea of opening a hair showroom. “That’s when I was like, ‘How do get into this?’”
Anila’s new store will officially open this month, as she recently announced on Instagram. “The day has FINALLY arrived!! The GRAND OPENING of [Private Label] in Tucker, Georgia…my NEW hair showroom THIS Friday, September 9th from 12-8 PM!” she captioned a post on September 7. “Stop by to check out the amazing space, new tools and of course the beautiful RAW Indian hair!”
