Dr. Kendra Segura Addresses the Drama Around Her "Air Force One" Outfit

On the May 17 episode of Married to Medicine Los Angeles, things got heated at Dr. Kendra Segura’s housewarming party when Shanique Drummond revealed that Lia Dias had a few choice words about an outfit Dr. Kendra had posted a photo of on Instagram. According to Shanique, Lia said Kendra’s look reminded her of an “Air Force One outfit,” to which Dr. Kendra responded, “Just FYI, that Air Force One jumpsuit I had was the only thing that could f--king fit.” When Dr. Kendra appeared as a guest on the June 27 episode of The Daily Dish podcast, she opened up about how the comments made her feel. 

“I think it was just girls being, you know, catty,” she said. “Maybe having a little bit of fun, but it’s not fun when you’re [the] new person in this group, and it’s about you. So that’s when it was like, you know, what is going on here? Who can I trust? Is this fun and games or like do I have women here that are really talking about me behind my back?” 

To put things into perspective, Dr. Kendra explained that the comments were particularly hurtful, as she was feeling emotional as a result of being a new mother. 

“I didn’t know how to feel about it. At the time, when you’re moving, and I was just so emotional. And I’m sleep deprived, too,” she said. “When you’re sleep deprived, everybody’s your enemy. SO I was like, I can’t trust not one bitch up in my house. You know what I mean?”

Ultimately, it seems like Dr. Kendra still totally loves her chic army green jumpsuit. After the episode aired, she reposted the photo Lia was allegedly talking about, and captioned the post, “Air Force 1.”
