New Mom Serena Williams Went for a Big Hair Color Change
Was she inspired by one of her wedding guests?
Serena Williams has a lot on her plate right now: she's a new mom to adorable baby Alexis Olympia and she's possibly gearing up to return to pro tennis and defend her Australian Open title. But even with all that, she managed to fit in a little hair makeover.
Williams turned to the glam team she relied on for her fairytale wedding this fall, and revealed her new look on Instagram yesterday. She's blonde now! Her caption to go along with the photo is so incredibly relatable, too: "I needed a change," she wrote.
Change is good! Especially when it involves ombre honey blonde curls, which really suit her. That color reminds us a bit of one of Williams's very famous friends and wedding guests: it's a similar shade to the Rapunzel-style ponytail Beyoncé wore to Williams's wedding. Maybe Bey inspired her to take the plunge? Either way, hopefully we'll see Williams and her slamming new hair on the tennis court next month.
