Amid Divorce, Danielle Staub Learned Her $2 Million Home Was for Sale... Online
The Real Housewives of New Jersey newlywed is going through a contentious divorce with Marty Caffrey.
It wasn't long ago that we were treated to a tour of Danielle Staub's "very peaceful New Jersey home," in which she's still been residing with Marty Caffrey, her soon-to-be ex-husband. But now, The Real Housewives of New Jersey pal will soon be on the move as Marty has put the six-bedroom Colonial home on the market. The 7,500-square-foot home is currently listed for $2,195,000.
A big problem has emerged from this real estate announcement via tabloid — Danielle's rep says that she was unaware that her home was being listed.
“Danielle did not know her home, where she lives, was listed for sale until she saw a story about it online; this is yet another example of the blatant disrespect and emotional abuse she has endured in this relationship," Danielle's rep Steve Honig told Bravo's Home & Design.
Danielle and Marty were married in the Bahamas in May, which viewers will see in Season 9 of RHONJ. Marty reportedly filed for divorce in September.
“It’s funny how I saw certain things happening, but you just believe, especially with the perception around us, getting engaged would make it better … getting married would make it better," Danielle said in an interview with Wendy Williams last month. "It doesn’t get better, ladies. If it’s falling apart, it’s broken. You can't fix that.”
